Active travelers who enjoy cycling will love this 3-hour private cycling tour on part of the Shimanami Kaido route that connects Honshu with Shikoku. The full route is around 37 miles (60 kilometers)-long but you’ll cycle a shorter section–ideal if you don’t have much time. Visit two of the islands in the Inland Sea, from where you’ll admire the scenic views and explore the local culture.

Once on the other side you will be stopping at the Tachibana Shokudo, Shima no Market, and also the orange market, places that are known in the Shimanami Kaido.
Tachibana on the southern coast of Mukaishima has some lovely long beaches and gorgeous views. The Tachibana Shokudo with its well-tended lawn and stylish interior is a very popular place to stop for lunch.

Must see!
What a great experience! First, you are treated to a sumo meal, then a video about sumo wrestling. Audience members get a chance to challenge the wrestlers. It was a very family friendly event!!

Great food educational and a heap of fun

Great day out
